What is a right angle seam

As with Curved Seams, you’re going to want the needle to be positioned down, in the fabric every time you stop while sewing this technique. So, if your machine offers a needle positioning feature, program it now.

Do you sew right side up?

You usually sew things with right sides together so the stitching will be on the inside of the finished project. Wrong side: The other surface is the “wrong” side of the fabric. The fabric design is sometimes visible on the wrong side of the fabric, but it will be more faded than on the right side.

What are boxed corners?

They are common on the bottom of purses, the corners of fitted sheets, and covers for other items, such as tables and toasters. If you want to add a box corner to a finished item, you can easily do this by folding the corner to the desired dimensions, and then sewing across the corner to secure it.
